Another year has come and gone here at Tiny Hoppers Kanata North! We said goodbye to so many amazing children who are headed off to their next big adventure, Kindergarten! We wish them the best of luck through their entire lives! We prepared them here by getting them used to packing their own backpacks, and even lunches! Our preschoolers were given many food options and asked to wrap and pack up their own healthy lunches! Our awesome educators focused on getting the preschoolers ready to take a yellow school bus, as well as how to properly hold and write with a pencil! They practiced counting numbers, and writing their names. They focused more on fine motor skills while practicing using scissors, rulers, and even calculators!
Giving our children a chance to pack their own lunches gives them a sense of autonomy, and belonging. With this preparation, along with the help of their amazing parent’s, our preschoolers are ready to thrive in school!
