Our educators observed how interested their preschoolers were when it came to using scissors, so they thought what better way to explore this natural curiosity by planning different challenges for the children to face. Allowing a child to use scissors teaches them many things – from scissor safety, to building hand strength that is so important for every day activities such as writing, eating and brushing our teeth, to developing hand eye coordination and improving attention skills, the learning is endless!
