A day on the farm at Tiny Hoppers Kanata North!

March 12, 2022

Through our observations, we’ve learned that our children are extremely interested in agriculture and farm animals! It is so important to teach children about these things for so many reasons. Learning about agriculture and farm life helps children gain perspective on why these things are such an important part of everyone’s lives, and how they help us to survive. Farmers help feed us and also take care of so many animals! Our toddlers are given the opportunity to make connections to food by learning where milk comes from. They even learned how to milk a cow through these great activities! We love to give our children the opportunity to learn life skills like taking care of animals, learning about hard work, safety skills and a really good sense of the different types of food that comes from farming.
