The best learning is messy learning!

February 7, 2022

Our toddlers love making messes! They have also been showing a lot of interest in cleaning things and animals! Our educators planned this fun sensory activity based on those interests.

Take a look at how engaged our toddlers are in these photos! They loved working on their fine motor skills while using different, out of the ordinary objects to paint plastic animals. After all that mess making it was time to wash our animals to get them squeaky clean again! The toddlers love exploring washing and water, something they’ve been exploring their whole lives when taking baths. Having the opportunity to master their own life experiences by repeating them on smaller scales helps them process and make sense of their world.

Letting our children clean up gives them the opportunity to practice and master cleanliness skills on their own terms.
