At the beginning of Summer, the toddler and preschoolers planted a garden with multiple vegetables and herbs. The children have helped water and weed the gardens alongside the teachers. So far we have been able to use some lettuce. We did have some radishes but an animal came and ate them up on us! This is a great way for our children to learn how and where vegetables come from and that they are not just from the store.
