At Tiny Hoppers Richmond East, we take pride in celebrating members of our community through special events! Our Mother’s Day celebration in May was a lovely event filled with lots of special gifts and activities, time together taking photos, and creating special memories. In the weeks leading up to the event, the children worked hard to create thoughtful gifts and cards for their mothers. Teachers also spent time planning activities that families could enjoy together in the classrooms.
On the day of the celebration, mothers were welcomed into the classrooms to spend quality time with their children. While one class had a tea party, another class set up a beautiful flower shop. Some families enjoyed making colourful superhero masks, and another class made apple donuts. Children and their mothers showed their creativity while decorating canvas bags and participating in flower-themed activities. Another favourite activity was nail decorating, where children had fun creating colourful nail designs for their moms. Families also enjoyed taking memorable pictures at the photo booths decorated with festive Mother’s Day themes!
It was a wonderful day celebrating the mothers in our Tiny Hoppers Richmond East community. We feel so fortunate to have this annual tradition where all parents are participating! Thank you to all the families who joined us for such a special event!
