Students were trying to help the penguin find its home by solving the maze in front of them. They worked together as a team to coordinate the best path and problem-solve together to see which way to go to lead the penguin home. Completing the penguin maze helps boost the students problem solving skills along with their patience and persistence in continuing to try and figure a way out that rewards them with pleasure after they located the penguin’s home all by themselves. Maze is such a great activity as it improve a child’s cognitive thought processes, it also improves on their hand-eye coordination.
