June has been a big month at Tiny Hoppers — and we’re just getting started! From celebrating our graduates to gearing up for a summer full of fun, here’s what’s been going on (and what to look forward to).
🎓 Congratulations to Our Preschool Graduates!
Earlier this month, we celebrated our Preschool Graduation, and what a special day it was! We watched our little learners cross the stage (sometimes with a little help, sometimes running full speed!) to mark this exciting milestone before they head off to kindergarten in the fall.
To all our graduates: we are so proud of how much you’ve grown, learned, and laughed with us. Thank you to all the families who joined us to celebrate — your support made the day even more special.
☀️ Summer Is Here — And So Are Our Spirit Days!
We’re open all summer long, and this year we’re adding even more fun with themed and spirit days throughout our summer program! Think dress-up days, special activities, and extra excitement woven right into our regular schedule.
A few examples of the kind of spirit weeks you can expect:
- Camping Week
- Superheros Week
- Water Days
- World Cup Week
These themed days are a fun way to break up the summer, build excitement for the kids, and create some great photo-worthy memories along the way. Keep an eye on our calendar and communications for specific dates so your little one can come dressed and ready to join in!
👔 Happy Father’s Day to Our Tiny Hoppers Dads!
We took a moment this month to celebrate the dads, grandpas, and father figures who mean so much to our children. Whether it was a handmade craft, a special card, or just extra hugs at pick-up, we hope every dad felt celebrated. Thank you for everything you do!
🪶 National Indigenous History Month & National Indigenous Peoples Day
June is National Indigenous History Month in Canada, and June 21st marked National Indigenous Peoples Day. This month gave us an opportunity to introduce age-appropriate learning moments into our classrooms — celebrating the rich, diverse cultures, traditions, and histories of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples.
Through stories, art, and conversation, we aim to help our children build early understanding and respect for the Indigenous peoples and cultures that are such an important part of our shared history. It’s never too early to start these conversations, and we’re grateful for the chance to weave them into our program.
