We loved celebrating Canada Day with our Tiny Hopper Family. In our classrooms, the children enjoyed a variety of activities that kept them engaged. They loved scooping, filling, and dumping rice and loose parts in the sensory bin. On the trays they enjoyed using their fine motor skills to separate the different colors and place them on the leaves on the banner. On the light tables, they enjoyed a variety of items to explore. They could explore red items that made noise, items with different textures and the magnets. The other light table they were able to enjoy some wooden Canadian animals, and loose parts. The children loved using the animals all day for various activities, and using the loose parts to give them eyes and fur.
