Mother Nature is a great resource for loose parts. Our Sr preschool children at Tiny Hoppers Stoney Creek Rymal constructed nature people. The children explored the textures of the nature items. This activity was a great way to enhance the children’s sensory, fine motor, social and cognitive skills as the planned and processed what items they could use to build a nature item that would represent themselves.
