Unlock the Exclusive Tots 2 Journey today we used a FaceTime plate form to connect and communicate through technology! We shared songs, questions, and a snack over a video call! The next day a family reconnected to the educators to set up a time to video call the class. Our tots had a special guest of a friend on vacation they video-called us at daycare to share their experiences in Arizona! The children in the class were so excited to talk to their friends on video call! Each child held a toy to share with the child on the video. “I have a shark”, and “I have a dinosaur” The Family and the child replied “We went to the zoo” The enriching conversation between family and friends was a memorable experience. Connection to learning disposition participates in real-life experience as video calling is
a way of communicating in our world. Families have reached out to share experiences, when they are on work trips they Facetime their spouse and children to connect. The second disposition is having a place of vitality. Vitality is created when the trust of adults and children’s relationships is a strong bond. Families participate by responding to learning stories questions and verbal conversations at pick-up times to share experiences, trips, and milestones. This experience fosters community sustainability through connecting with children, families, and educators.
