Background, Qualifications and Experiences
I grew up in a family that owns and runs a chain of child care centers in my hometown.
After high school I finished Kindergarten Teacher Program in China. From 2000 to 2011, I
worked in Day Care Centers and ran my own kindergarten business. During all this time I gained
significant experience working with children and running a large child care center, in which I had
32 employees and 350 children.
After my family moved to Edmonton from China, I volunteered in different daycare
centers. In 2014, I got enrolled into Day Home Provider Program at NorQuest College in
Edmonton and received Day Home Provider Certificate and Childcare Staff Qualification
Certificate. In 2016, my family moved to Toronto, I worked with Kid’s Place Nursery School and
Mini Skool ‘ A Child’s Place’. In 2017, I bought Rainbow Academy Early and Child Care Centre
with 123 children and 25 employees, I had been operated this daycare till August 2022 due to
my family moved back to Edmonton. For better knowledge and higher qualification, in 2020, I
graduated from Early Childhood Education program in Humber Collage Ontario and became a
Registered ECE (RECE) with the College of ECE. In October 2022, I received the Level 3 Early
Childhood Educator Certificate from Alberta Government.
Through my education and working experience, I understand children’s developmental
milestone for each age stage and able to plan activities for individuals and groups, also I know
how to manage a daycare center’s day to day matters with children, families, staff, and other
relevant parties. . With my passion and experience, I’m confident to operate Tiny Hoppers
Daycare successfully and help this brand thriving in the child care field.
