Mothers’ day!! This day is very special to us as we celebrate our mom! Children were able to plant real wildflowers for her as well as create another special gift for their special person.
We took extra time to make sure our flower pots were filled just right and used our fine motor skills to sprinkle seeds. Digging, Digging and more Digging.. after planting our own flowers, we have been so interested in digging and dirt.
We have also been interested in BUGS! We took the time to create this “Digging in the mud” activity for the children to bring the fun inside. They also enjoyed the sensory feeling of it.
As a class we started noticing Jets outside were leaving a “Cloud Trail”, so we decided to create our own planes with the same trail! We used our imagination to make it ours and then took it outside for some needed AIR TIME!
RESTAURANT OPEN FOR BUSINESS
Think of all the imagination and social skills go into having our very own mud kitchen restaurant! We even had rocks painted as food to enhance our play.
Dinosaur time or hat time?
This exploration activity really was a roaring hit! Adding books for children to read as they explore the elements of a prehistoric world. Complete with 2 Volcanoes and all the dinos!! So, tell me… How does one catch a dinosaur?
