We have a big group graduating to kindergarten this year so the preschoolers are practicing their letters and matching with this activity. The educators hid the letters on sticky notes around the classroom and the children had to go and find one and then match it to the letter on the paper taped to the window. The preschoolers used their gross motor skills to go around the room and find the letters, their fine motor skills to grab the sticky notes and their cognitive skills to match! They had had a lot of fun during this activity and kept asking to play “the letter game!”
