January was a month full of creativity, celebration, and curiosity at Tiny Hoppers Woodgrove! We kicked off the New Year with many fun art projects and engaging activities. From learning about winter arctic animals to talking about ways to stay warm in the winter months, the children jumped right into the excitement!

Our dress-up days were a big highlight! From rocking out on Dress Like a Rockstar Day to celebrating National Polka Dot Day with our cheerful Polka Dot outfits, everyone loved showing off their fun outfits and celebrating together.

We also began learning about different cultures and traditions by exploring Lunar New Year and Ramadan. Through stories, discussions, and hands on activities, the children were introduced to the meaning behind these celebrations, helping to build curiosity, respect, and understanding of the world around them.

Looking ahead to February, we have even more exciting moments planned! We’ll be celebrating Valentine’s Day with a special Sweetheart Dance, filled with music, joy, and lots of smiles. February will also focus on kindness and friendship as we take part in Pink Shirt Day, encouraging empathy, inclusivity, and caring for one another. In addition, we will continue learning more about Lunar New Year, diving deeper into its traditions and celebrations.
