February was an exciting month of exploration and discovery at Tiny Hoppers as we dove into the world of science! Our curious little ones had a blast with hands-on experiments that sparked their imaginations and developed their fine motor skills.

We kicked things off by exploring the depths of volcanoes. The Tykes were fascinated as we created our very own volcanic eruption—complete with fizzing, bubbling excitement! It was a fun, messy way to learn about the forces of nature.

Next, we explored the colorful world of science. Using vibrant paints and simple materials, the Tots had a blast with colour mixing experiments, discovering how different hues could come together to form new shades. We also watched as colors traveled through paper towels, making for an eye-popping and educational spectacle!

Finally, we took our science fun outdoors, where the babies were given squeeze bottles filled with liquid dye to melt and color the snow. This activity not only introduced them to the science of melting, but also encouraged fine motor skill development as they squeezed the bottles to watch the vibrant colors spread and mix in the snow.

At Tiny Hoppers, we believe in learning through play, and this month was the perfect example of that! We can’t wait to see what next month’s adventures will bring!
