Feathers have always fascinated people of all ages with their complex structure and the wide variety of colors and patterns they display. They offer endless opportunities for both education and play. At Tiny Hoppers Summerside, the children were inquisitive about the writing tools people used before markers and pencils were invented. To ignite their curiosity and improve their fine motor and literacy skills, educators initiated a play activity with feathers. We were amazed at how impressive their paintings and letters turned out to be!
