The children were excited to explore the snow. The tuff tray was filled with snow, with food colouring on top, scoops, small buckets and cups. At first the children gently grabbed the snow with their fingers and said, “it’s cold”. Then they started to mix the food colouring in the snow with the scoops. The children then started filling the cups, child A gave me a cup filled with snow and said here is your ice cream. I said thank you and asked him what flavour the ice cream is. Then child A said it’s chocolate. I pretended to eat and said it wass yummy. Then he asked, “do you want some more?”, I said yes please and then he started to mix the snow and put it in a cup and gave it to me and said, “here your ice cream”. I again asked what flavour it and he said “chocolate”. I asked, do you have other flavours? He said “yes, I have strawberry and banana”.
I said can I have banana please. He said “yes” and filled the cup with the snow and put a bead on top. I asked what is this he said “it’s a cupcake”. I asked what more can we make from snow. He said “pizza” and stopped. I said can we make a milkshake. He happily said “yes” and started to mix the snow with the scoop while making sounds. And then he gave me the cup and said “here is your milkshake”. Then he said “can we make a castle with the snow?” and asked me to help him. I filled the cup with snow and turned the cup on the tuff tray and cup shaped snow was made. All the children were excited to see the shape of the cup. And child A with other children made their own castle. This involves Flight framework as fine motor as he squeezes and scoops the snow, communication as they talk with each other, play and playfulness. The disposition are curiosity, persistence, creativity and cooperation
