Both classes have begun celebrating Chinese New Year with brand new and engaging activities. The children were immediately drawn to the table with chess pieces, fire cracker sensory table and “hot pot” station with felt food created by our very own Mrs. Jan! These activities were proudly prepared by Mrs. Jan in celebration of Chinese New Year coming up this week. All of the children were engaged in the activities and taking turns and playing nicely with the new materials.
In the toddler class the teachers set up a table with noodles, tweezers, meatballs and red envelopes to pass out to friends. The children were engaged at the table and enjoyed using the tweezers to pick up the meatballs and noodles.
