Today was all about Mickey! Our preschoolers explored a colourful Mickey-themed tuff tray filled with red petals, black
beans, rice, and Mickey cookie cutters. The children loved scooping, pouring, sorting, and making patterns, which supported
their sensory exploration, fine-motor skills, and early maths skills.
For art, the children used bingo dabbers to design their own Mickey pictures. This activity encouraged creativity, colour
recognition, and hand–eye coordination.
At the table, the children pretended they were celebrating Mickey’s birthday, role-playing party scenes, singing, and
“serving” pretend cakes. This imaginative play helped develop their language skills, social interaction, and communication
skills.
