As the summer days come to a close, we at Tiny Hoppers are filled with gratitude and excitement.
This year has been extra special as we celebrate our 10th anniversary with a fun-filled party on August 22nd! It is a beautiful opportunity to reflect on all the memories we’ve created, the milestones we’ve celebrated, and the wonderful families who have been part of our journey.
From the excitement of our anniversary celebration coming up to the adventures of summer, it’s been a season full of joy. As we bid farewell to summer, we’re eagerly looking ahead to what September will bring. Here’s a look at some of the highlights of the past few months and what’s on the horizon.
A Summer Full of Fun & Growth
This summer, our preschoolers and toddlers had the time of their lives exploring, learning, and making memories that will last a lifetime. Whether they were splashing around in the water, discovering new textures in sensory bins, or building their creativity through art, each day was a new adventure.
We also had the chance to embrace the beauty of summer with outdoor play and nature exploration. Some of the favourite moments included:
Water Play Days: From running through sprinklers to playing in our kiddie pool, water play was a hit for cooling off and strengthening those fine motor skills.
Arts & Crafts Creations: Our little artists were busy creating masterpieces with paint, markers, and clay.
Outdoor Exploration: We took advantage of the sunny days with nature walks, treasure hunts, and learning about the world around us.
But the true highlight of this summer will be our 10th Anniversary Celebration on August 22nd. It will be an unforgettable day filled with laughter, love, and memories shared with our incredible community. We will have games, music, food, and, of course, lots of fun activities for the children. It will be the perfect way to honour 10 years of growth, learning, and the relationships we’ve built with our families.
Looking Ahead to September: A New Chapter of Learning
As summer winds down and September approaches, we are looking forward to another exciting year of learning, growth, and exploration. September is always a time of transition, as new routines are established and new faces join our community. Here’s what we’re most excited about for the upcoming months:
New Friendships and Experiences
For many of our little ones, September marks a fresh start. It’s the perfect time for children to make new friends, build relationships, and settle into their classrooms. Our educators are dedicated to creating a warm and nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn.
And sadly saying goodbye to our graduating class who will be entering Junior Kindergarten this fall. We wish each and everyone of them all the best as they onto their new milestone.
Curriculum Focus:
In the fall, we’ll continue our commitment to child led learning, which is essential for toddlers and preschoolers as they develop crucial skills. This September, we’ll focus on:
Language Development: Storytelling, songs, and simple conversations will help enhance vocabulary and communication.
Early Literacy: More exposure to letters, sounds, and stories, all while nurturing a love for reading.
Math & Science Exploration: Activities will help children explore numbers, shapes, and patterns through play and hands-on experiences.
Social & Emotional Skills: Fostering cooperation, empathy, and conflict resolution through group activities.
Exciting Events to Look Forward To
Along with the day-to-day learning, we have a variety of fun and educational events coming up. We’ll keep the children engaged, active, and ready to embrace the new season with excitement.

As we welcome September, we’re thrilled to see familiar faces return and excited to meet new families joining our community. Whether your child is with us for the first time or has been part of the Tiny Hoppers family for years, we can’t wait to continue this journey together.
