The children explored bugs. They enjoyed using bugs to spell their names and decorating bugs with loose parts. This activity fosters letter recognition and creativity by utilizing loose parts. The light table was used to view bugs. This activity builds fine motor skills, visual tracking, and early STEM concepts (like sorting, counting, and color mixing). These activities also encourages creativity, promote language and vocabulary building, and provide a calming, sensory-focused environment for young learners.
