Sorting Colour Eggs

What an easy and fun way to practice recognizing and sorting colours.  Collect some empty egg cartons and paint the inside of each cup a different colour.  Place out a big basket full of plastic eggs.  See if the children can sort the eggs into the corresponding coloured compartment!  Egg-cellent!
