The toddlers have been exploring bugs lately so when they got a chance to play with bugs frozen in ice they were all over it! The goal was to help melt the ice so that they could get the bugs out. They used their fine motor skills to use eye droppers and warm water to melt the ice and also loved to use their hands to feel the coldness of the ice. Once they got the bugs out, they had fun playing with the bugs in the grass and bug hotel!
