Here we are at the end of August and the start of a new school year! This month has been filled with excitement as we said goodbye to some friends, welcomed new ones, and celebrated children transitioning into their new classrooms.
We enjoyed a variety of engaging activities, from building and hands-on experiences to STEAM activities where the children explored pouring, dumping, measuring, and experimenting. These activities encouraged creativity, curiosity, and helped the children discover new possibilities. We also had a special visit from UnikZoo Animation! The children loved meeting and gently petting the bunnies and guinea pigs. The chicken was the star of the show, especially when it flew! Through this experience, the children practiced patience, taking turns, and teamwork.
We also welcomed the Ottawa Public Library for a wonderful reading session. The children absolutely loved the stories and enjoyed spending time with books.
As we say goodbye to August, we are grateful for all the wonderful memories, learning, laughter, and friendships we shared. We look forward to an exciting new school year filled with discovery and fun!
