April has been a month full of exciting and meaningful experiences in our classrooms.
We celebrated several birthdays this month, and the children enjoyed engaging in process art by creating their own “birthday cakes” from boxes. This week-long activity encouraged imaginative play and a sense of belonging, as each child felt special decorating their own cake and sharing the experience with their peers.
We also celebrated Easter with activities designed to support both gross and fine motor development. These hands-on experiences were both fun and enriching for everyone involved.
In one of our classrooms, the focus has been on gardening. The children have planted seeds and are learning how to care for them by watering and observing their growth. It has been wonderful to see their excitement as they watch their plants develop.
To top off the month, we enjoyed a special sing-along concert with a guest performer. The children had a fantastic time singing, dancing, and engaging with the music.
Overall, April has been a joyful month filled with creativity, learning, and celebration.
