Every year to commemorate the amazing journey of Terry Fox, our centre participates in a bike and scooter run to remember the sacrifice and inspiring life of Terry Fox and his Marathon of Hope.
Our little friends brought their scooters and bikes to school and rode around the JK playground. We were not only celebrating a hometown Canadian hero, we also took the time to develop our gross motor skills using moving objects such as the bikes and scooters. We learned to balance while driving the wheels and the importance of helmet safety every time we ride our bikes.
