The children are very excited to have a change in the weather. They loved exploring everything from bugs to birds to their surroundings that are changing. So, we set up some activities for them to explore their interests a little further. We made an entire shelf for a story. The children could pick their characters, objects, pets and the setting for their story. They also loved watching the birds build nests in the outside gazebo and wanted to feed them, so we made some bird food. The children also loved exploring the crawling bugs. It was so much fun for the teachers to set up a sorting activity for the children, count the legs on the bugs, and match them in the different containers.
