Our tiny hoppers love learning through sensory activities. We provided them with various activities to explore all their sensory needs. The children are interested in nature and what they are able to find in the grass. We provided them with moss, magnifying glasses, bugs and loose parts. They loved exploring the moss to look for bugs and burying them again. With the playdough, they are able to make different impressions using textured leaves, hearts, fruit and other loose parts. They enjoyed seeing the imprint that was left on the playdough. Some of the preschoolers loved working on their fine motor skills by using nail clippers to cut the noodles into various sizes. Our little hoppers love painting so we gave them cans to paint that had different textures on them. This helps them with their fine motor and coordination to paint all the grooves on the can.
