A Year of Learning

As we reflect on a wonderful 2025, we are filled with excitement and gratitude for our growing community and for all that our children have experienced together. The past year has been full of a variety of learning opportunities in every season, as well as fun events with families, and meaningful memories made within each classroom.

Throughout 2025, our Squirts classes have been gaining life skills as they became familiar with classroom routines. Through sensory play, movement, music, and other activities, children in our Squirts classes are building confidence in a classroom environment with their peers and teachers.

Our Tots classes have continued to develop independence and confidence. Life skills such as potty learning, self-help routines, and language development have been evident in our classrooms, and children’s progress is celebrated often! Outdoor walks and nature exploration have been encouraged and enjoyed, and inside the classroom our children continue to learn about sharing, turn taking, and a variety of other social skills.

In our Tykes classrooms, children have been engaged in learning that prepares them for kindergarten and beyond. Teachers observe and document the interests of children in the class, and through emergent curriculum they’ve explored science, math, literacy, and pre-kindergarten skills in meaningful ways. Whether problem-solving, theorizing and predicting science experiments, storytelling and public speaking at circle time, or collaborating with peers, our Tykes children are developing a variety of skills while continuing to build strong relationships with their friends and teachers.

As we celebrate everything that occurred in 2025, we are excited to welcome a new year filled with new learning opportunities and memories together. We are so proud to be part of these children’s learning and feel grateful for the relationships built in our Tiny Hoppers community
