The preschoolers have been enjoying the wintery weather, so the educators brought outdoor winter activities inside the classroom.

This magnetic ice fishing activity was a great way to build fine motor skills, hand–eye coordination and focus as children carefully caught the fish. This activity also encouraged patience, turn-taking, and social interaction with friends.”

“The Animal Kingdom!

The toddlers have been interested in animals so much that the educators set up a tuff tray filled with animals, water gems, and natural resources for the toddlers to explore the habitats of animals.

This playful setup supported fine motor development through painting and manipulating objects, encouraged sensory exploration with different textures, and promoted early language as children named animals and engaged in imaginative small-world play.”
