Today the children in preschool 1 got to learn about healthy eating. They had an opportunity to sort drawings of common food items in to healthy or unhealthy groups. They got to work on their sorting and observation skills during this activity. On the carpet they did a laundry basket soccer activity. This let them develop their gross motor skills and whole body coordination. At the tuff tray they did a letter matching activity, which helped them practice their pre literacy representation skills. Lastly we set out a gingerbread decorating activity at another table with play-dough and loose parts.
