World Tourism Day!

At Tiny Hoppers Richmond East, one of our favourite ways to make connection visible throughout our school is during our “World Tourism Day!” Each class chooses a country to represent, and creates culturally specific activities for their classrooms. Leading up to the event, each child makes their own countries passport before preparing to travel around the world!

As they explored the school, children had the opportunity to visit England, the Philippines, Japan, Spain, Mexico, and Turkey. In each classroom, they learned about different cultures through food activities, traditional outfits, music, dance, and much more! As children visited classrooms around the school, they got to connect with new children and teachers, making special memories together. This opportunity invited each single classroom to participate in a school-wide learning!

Our commitment to building community is evident during World Tourism Day, and we can’t wait for the next opportunity for children to share learnings from their classrooms!
