The fall season has officially settled in, and our daily routines are now well established. With the support of our amazing teachers, the children enjoyed many fun and engaging activities throughout the month.
We began by celebrating our wonderful educators on ECE Day, showing how grateful we are to have them as part of our team.
We had also celebrated Thanksgiving with the children. They took part in simple gratitude them activities, to make them understand the spirit of the holiday in fun meaningful way.
As a diverse and inclusive center, we also had the joy of celebrating Diwali. The children created beautiful artwork to highlight this special celebration and learned about the festival’s themes of light, color, and togetherness.
Then it was all about Halloween! The children had a fantastic time making spooky arts and sensory. These activities enhanced the children’s self-expression and helped them feel welcome and that they belong. We also organized an indoor trick-or-treating activity, which the kids absolutely loved.
To finish off the month, we were delighted to welcome the Ottawa Public Library for a special Halloween story time.
