Our little explorers at Tiny Hoppers Summerside enjoyed a spooky adventure as our classroom transformed into a spiderweb obstacle course filled with bats and colourful autumn leaves!
The children crawled, ducked, and carefully navigated through the webs, using flashlights to explore the mysterious space. What a wonderful opportunity for discovery and learning!
Making Learning Visible Through FLIGHT ๐
- Well-Being: Crawling, bending, and moving through narrow spaces strengthened gross-motor skills, balance, coordination, and spatial awareness.
- Play and Playfulness: Exploring the spooky tunnel encouraged imagination, curiosity, confidence, and the willingness to take manageable risks.
- Communication and Literacies: Using flashlights to investigate light and shadows encouraged observation, visual exploration, and opportunities to describe discoveries.
- Problem-Solving and Persisting: Children experimented with different ways to move around obstacles, adjusting their bodies and movements to find a pathway through the webs.
Through this playful experience, our mighty learners demonstrated curiosity, exploration, and growing independence.
At Tiny Hoppers Summerside, every playful adventure is an opportunity to learn, grow, and discover! ๐โจ
