We made the most of the mild snowy weather by heading outside for lots of winter fun. The children enjoyed sledding, rolling big snowballs, and exploring the snowy yard together. There was plenty of laughter, teamwork, and active play as everyone took in the fresh air.
Outdoor play is especially important for preschoolers—it supports physical development, builds social skills, encourages problem-solving, and helps children regulate their energy and emotions. Time outside, even in winter, gives children space to move, explore, and learn in meaningful ways while having fun together.
