This past weekend, Tiny Hoppers Richmond East celebrated our Winter Concert with the children, their families, and our teachers and staff team! Everyone was excited to celebrate together in a morning filled with song and dance, laughter, good food, and the feeling of community. In the weeks leading up to the event, classrooms were busy practicing their dance routines with different props and costumes. Children became familiar with their concert songs, and some were even singing the songs at home too! Each child also worked hard making a homemade gift for their families. Some children made hand-painted ornaments, decorated plates, photo frames, and wreaths! Each gift was uniquely made by the children and were gifted to families on the day of our celebration.

On the day of our Winter Concert, our Tiny Hoppers community filled up the banquet room with children, parents, siblings, grand-parents, and other loved ones, alongside our teachers. As our children performed their routines, there were so many proud families watching with smiles, laughter, and joy. Even though some children were nervous to join the stage in front of a crowd, their family members proudly joined us and danced along! Fantastic costumes such as gingerbread people, Christmas trees, and snowmen were a highlight, along with the wonderful props teachers took time to create for the children.

After the concert, our Tiny Hoppers community joined together for a wonderful buffet lunch, serving delicious foods such as turkey with stuffing and gravy, roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, and salads. Coffee and dessert were well enjoyed too!

We feel privileged to create an event where children, families, and teachers can all get together and create meaningful memories. A big thank you to our families for celebrating with us this holiday season, we appreciate you all and look forward to creating more memories together in the coming months and years!
