Our P2 friends engaged in a Black History Month–themed activity focused on Harriet Tubman and the Underground Railroad. Children learned how the North Star was used as a guide to freedom and explored this concept through a sensory bin activity that offered a meaningful visual representation of the journey to freedom. This activity supported sensory development (tactile exploration and focus) and cognitive learning (historical understanding, symbolism, and early critical thinking skills).
