Tiny Hoppers is the creation of Brigida Aversa and Theresa Bertuzzi who decided to establish their own early learning centre. With humble beginnings, in 2005, Tiny Hoppers began in the Ottawa South region.
Brigida Aversa
Chief Operating Officer / Co-Owner & Founder
Brigida Aversa’s experience is in business. She is an award winning top sales and marketing professional spanning many fields such as sightseeing , transportation, cosmetics, childrens services, and retail. Brigida also has over 26 years experience in managing small businesses and franchising. Her dedication to children dates back over 30 years as a volunteer coordinator for childrens fashion shows, fundraising events, assisting young children aged 3-15 years with self esteem and self confidence. Brigida is heavily involved in community fundraising and charity events. She is the proud recipient of the 40 under 40 award, the distinguished women Ottawa award and the Ottawa philanthropic award.
Theresa Bertuzzi
Chief Program Development Officer / Co-Owner & Founder
All of our programs have been carefully designed by Theresa Balys Bertuzzi, a certified and experienced Primary Teacher, who has qualifications in Early Childhood Education. She also has over 10 years of experience as an award-winning synchronized swimming coach, where she specialized in motivating young children while helping them to recognize their self-importance.

Pam Davies
Global Curriculum Developer Manager
Pam Davies is Tiny Hoppers’ Global Curriculum Development Manager. She provides ongoing support to the teachers and educators at Tiny Hoppers, monitoring the quality of programming in all classrooms. Pam has been working in the field of Early Childhood Education for the past seventeen years and was brought onto the team for her incredible creativity. Pam works on creating activity manuals for teachers to use in their programming and develops workshops that focus on programming, creativity in the classroom, and the importance of classroom setup.
Rendi Lamontagne
Regional Director Alberta
Rendi Lamontagne the proud owner of the first Tiny Hoppers location in Western Canada, situated in the Summerside area of Edmonton. Since opening in August 2017, she has been driven by a passion for providing high-quality childcare. In addition to her role as a centre owner, she serves as the Alberta District Manager for Tiny Hoppers, where she supports the growth and success of additional centres across Alberta. Rendi is an entrepreneur at heart, particularly focused on the childcare industry. As a member of the Association of Childcare Entrepreneurs, she is dedicated to fostering innovation and implementing best practices within the childcare sector.
Sherrie Maclean
Global Licensing and Support Manager
Sherrie MacLean is Tiny Hoppers’ global licensing and support manager. She provides ongoing support to all the Tiny Hoppers schools to ensure that they meet ministry requirements and are running high-quality programs. Sherrie has been working in the field of Early Childhood Education for the past 28 years, 21 of which were in a supervisory role. She helps to create the policies and procedures for the Tiny Hoppers schools and provides day-to-day support. Sherrie is our liaison with the Ministry of Education, helps to train directors, and provides technical support on CCLS and software programs.
Rukiye
Regional Director British Columbia
Rukiye first joined the Tiny Hoppers family in 2019 at the Lisgar location in Ontario and later transferred to Richmond Alderbridge centre in British Columbia. I am now proud to be part of my third location here at Willoughby in BC. With over 15 years of experience in the education field across various settings, I’ve always had a deep passion for working with young learners, supporting their development and watching them grow into confident and capable individuals. Being part of Tiny Hoppers has been a truly rewarding journey. As the BC Regional Curriculum Manager, I’ve had the pleasure of visiting our centres across the province to support curriculum implementation, provide coaching to educators, and ensure compliance with our high standards of care and education. She’s proud to contribute to our team that is dedicated to creating nurturing, engaging, and enriching learning environments for every child
