Our JK1 class began their new year by doing some number recognition through fun wall art! Teachers set up a sticky wall outlining the numbers “2026” for the new year. Our friends first had to recognize the individual numbers and were encouraged to show them through counting fingers. They then proceeded to stick tissue paper, outlining the new year. Children engaged in collaborative play, math development and socialization with peers and teachers.
