At Tiny Hoppers Richmond East, we love celebrating our families, and this Father’s Day we had the joy of having our amazing dads and father figures into our classrooms for a special event! As the teachers and children prepared for the event, we were talking about our excitement to invite in our loved ones who are such an important part of our Tiny Hoppers family.
On Friday June 13, our classrooms were filled with excitement as we welcomed fathers into their child’s classroom for an afternoon of fun, laughter, special activities and hand made gifts. The event began with a welcome snack and drink. Several classrooms had set up photo booths with fun back drops and photo accessories, and the children’s gifts were displayed for families to receive.
During the event, children and their families were so excited to participate in thoughtful art and movement games within the classroom! One classroom had prepared a song and dance for their families as they came in for the celebration. Some children made captain hats for their “captain dad,” while other classrooms played a balloon popping game. Children showed their families how they can make their Daddy “coffee,” while other classrooms decorated “#1 Dad” hats and played a “Daddy and me” game that lifted their little ones above their heads!
We’re so grateful to all the dads, grandpas, and father figures who took time out of their day to join us. Thank you for making this Father’s Day celebration one to remember.
