This morning, our toddlers enjoyed fun activities inspired by *Ten Apples Up on Top* by Dr. Seuss. We listened to the story and explored stacking and counting through apple picking and basket collecting, using tweezers to gather apples in the tuff tray, sticking apples on top of a lion, tiger, and dog, and dabbing paintsticks on counting worksheets. These activities supported fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, counting skills, number recognition, focus, and creativity. Happy Tuesday!
Day 2 of Dr. Seuss week! Today we read *“One, Two, Three”*. Our tiny tots enjoyed exciting activities of counting and picking “bloogs” from the puffy pink tree, colouring stickle-bush trees, exploring letters and candles, and driving funny fish cars along the track on the tuff tray. Through these hands-on experiences, they developed early numeracy and literacy skills, strengthened their fine motor control, enhanced hand–eye coordination, encouraged creativity, and built social skills through shared play and exploration with their friends. on, focus, and creativity.
