Providing alternate materials like cotton balls for snow, leaves to rake and lately spraying water on the umbrella with spray bottles would all enhance this learning experiences. This simple yet engaging space has so many fun-filled learning experiences like fine motor skills, color recognition, problem solving, cause and affect. The children in this umbrella experience have been taught how we can positively enjoy the weather changes, what materials or attire to wear, and how we can still enjoy “rain” inside and outside.
