In the preschool room we did a few weeks of activities based on Chinese New year and the lantern festival. The kids absolutely loved exploring this table made by one of the educator’s who celebrates Chinese New Year. She made different foods from materials and brought in traditional plates and chop sticks for the children to use their fine motor skills to put up the different food items. The educators also set up two different lantern festival cutting and patterns activites to explore”.
