OWNERS:  

Happy New Year!  Look forward to hearing all about your wonderful holiday and what Santa brought you!

 

STAFF SPOTLIGHT:

Beginning each month in our newsletter, we will choose staff members to focus on & share some insight about them so that you can know your teachers just a little bit better!

This month it is Ms. Breanne. She is one of our amazing supply teachers! Ms. Breanne has been with us for two months. We are so lucky to have her on our team!  Her co-workers describe her as:

“nice, flexible, quick learner, friendly, kind, funny, sweet, calm, loving, positive, smart, hardworking”

INFANTS:

Happy New Year and Welcome back!!

This month we will have a variety of winter activities to explore our gross motor & fine motor skills, being creative during art. From activities with snowflakes & snowmans to sleigh rides & playing “hockey”.

Dates to remember:

  • Jan 10: PJ Day
  • Jan 14: Disney Day (wear anything Disney)
  • Jan 18: Winnie the Pooh Day (wear Winnie the Pooh or red & orange)
  • Jan 28 Pirate day (dress like a pirate)

TODDLERS:

Happy New Year toddler families and welcome back!!!

This month we are learning all about new beginnings and celebrations. We also have whole weeks planned around Disney characters, food, and the sea.

We are going to work with the toddlers this month on being more independent by practicing putting on their own shoes, throwing out their own garbage and cleaning up their little messes.

These days are getting colder so please remember to always pack weather appropriate outdoor clothing. Lots of mitts and warm indoor clothes as well.

PRESCHOOL:

We are so happy to welcome the new year!

This month, we will do some winter activities. We will have a tobogganing day and a snowman making contest day. We will also learn more about winter animals and hibernation, through our learning centers or by reading some interesting books about winter animals.

We will also celebrate Winnie the Pooh National day which will be on January 18th. We will prepare some exciting activities and crafts on this day.
