STAFF SPOTLIGHT:
Beginning each month in our newsletter, we will choose one staff member to focus on & share some insight about them so that you can know your teachers just a little bit better!
This month it is Ms. Eliane, one of our amazing toddler teachers! It will be 8 months in May 2021 since Ms. Eliane has been with us. We are so lucky to have her on our team! Her employees describe her as:
“Kind, funny, strong, happy, polite, patient, creative, caring, generous, devoted, a joy to work with, hard working, sweet heart, dedicated & committed to her work, humble”.
INFANTS:
We love our mother’s everyday, but May has a special day that is dedicated to honouring our mothers.
With the warmer weather and seasons changing, we will be focusing on weather. Chidlren will be able to learn and explore about the changes in weather through ducks & ponds, sensory, art and science activities.

TODDLERS:
May is an exciting month with lots of beautiful colors. We look forward to seeing flowers bloom and brighter days.
We will attain new goals this month. We are excited for a month of wonder and discovery. Like bees, we will be busy.
In the toddler classroom, we will explore art, space, farm animals and so much more. We will also learn about Mother’s Day and Eid. Let’s see what May has for us.

PRESCHOOL:
We can’t believe it’s May already!
May is a significant month for everyone because it is the month we get to celebrate and honor our mothers. Though we will not be holding a children’s fashion show this year like we used to in previous years, we hope that this year’s Mother’s day will be incredibly special and wonderful for all Tiny Hoppers moms!
Our theme for this month will be farm and farm animals. Songs and stories will revolve around this theme. Children will learn more about farm and farm animals through exploration at the STEM, literacy fine and gross motor skills, arts and crafts, and sensory centers.
