OWNERS

We are so very blessed to have amazing staff and last month Feb 1st,  we celebrated Mrs Paula’s 8 year anniversary with us and on March 19th, we celebrate Mrs Christina’s 5 year anniversary with us!

These ladies are mentors and always offering to help in anyway they can.

We are very lucky to have them!!

STAFF SPOTLIGHT

Beginning each month in our newsletter, we will choose one staff member to focus on & share some insight about them so that you can know your teachers just a little bit better!

This month it is Ms. Lauren, one of our amazing toddler teachers! It will be 1 year in August 2021 since Ms. Lauren has been with us. We are so lucky to have her on our team!  Her employees describe her as:

“adventurous, affectionate, amiable, creative, passionate, team player, empathetic, trustworthy, hardworking, kind, committed, caring, dedicated, sweet, loving, dynamic, determined, patient, amazing work ethic, tender, has a big heart, warm, polite”.

 

INFANTS:

We are going to learn about animals this month!
We will have a variety of art, sensory and gross motor activities where we can learn about animals (what they eat, where they live, what they look like and what sounds they make).

Dates to remember:

  • March 3 – World Wildlife day (wear animal-themed shirt)
  • March 8 –International Women’s day
  • March 17 – St. Patrick’s Day (wear green)
  • March 19 – World Sleep Day (wear your comfy PJs and bring your favorite stuffed animal)
  • March 22 – World water day (water activities)
  • March 23 – World Meteorological day
  • April 1 – Easter Egg Hunt

 

TODDLERS:

March is the month associated with the beginning of spring. We see our days getting longer and our night shorter. The snow start to kind of melt and the soil begins to prepare for plantation season.

In the toddler class, we will be exploring a lot of events that are connected to March such as World Wildlife Day, St Patrick’s Day, World Sleep Day, World Water Day, and World Meteorological Day. We are looking forward to a month full of discovery, new goals to attain and growth in the toddler class. We will learn about animals, weather, colors and also introduce some activities to prepare for Easter. We are excited to see what March has in store for us.

Dates to remember:

  • March 3 – World Wildlife Day (wear a shirt that has a wildlife animal on it)
  • March 17 – St. Patrick’s Day (Don’t forget to put on something green)
  • March 19 – World Sleep Day (wear your comfy PJs and bring your favorite stuffed animal)
  • March 22 – World Water Day (Wear blue to represent water)
  • March 23 – World Meteorological Day
  • April 1 – Easter Hunt (Put on a fuzzy sweater)

 

PRESCHOOL:

It is hard to believe it’s March already.

Lots of exciting things are happening at Preschool!

We will talk about and do animal-related activities to celebrate World Wildlife day, and describe important women in our lives for International Women’s day. March 17th is St. Patrick’s Day, please don’t forget to wear green! We will also have water activities on World Water day which is on March 22nd, and talk about the weather and climate for World Meteorological day on March 23rd. In the last two weeks of March, we will do Easter -related activities and culminate with the Easter egg hunt on April 1st.
