THE DIRECTOR:

Hello everyone it’s Mrs Taïna, I just want to express how happy I am to be the new Director!

We will be closed on Monday October 12th, 2020 for Thanksgiving.

We encourage you to read the parent portal newsfeed to keep yourself updated. We post information about public health and we have a new assessment tool for you to use.

THE CHEF:

The fall menu is out for all of you. I hope all my little friends enjoy the meals and snacks that I will be putting together.

Just a reminder that the date at the top of the menu is just the date it was created.

The menu will only be changed if necessary.

Thank you and I can’t wait to hear how yummy everything is.

 

INFANTS:

This month the children will be able explore a variety of fall activities.

Fall themed art, sensory, and nature walks!

Friday October 9, 2020 – wear thanksgiving colours (red, orange, brown, black)

Just a reminder to dress for the weather!

 

TODDLERS:

Fall is an exciting time with lots of colours! For the month of October, we will be “FALLing into Autumn”. We will practice our fall colours, make fun crafts like painting leaves and magic cauldrons. We will also practice some hands-on skills by decorating a mummy and balancing pumpkins on paper towel rolls! We are looking forward to some extra special days to celebrate the season…

Thursday October 8th – Thanksgiving lunch (we will wear special hats from craft)

Friday October 16th – Wear your favourite black and orange

Tues October 20th – Bring your favourite stuffy and pyjama day

Friday October 30th – Come dressed in your Halloween costume!

 

PRESCHOOL:

October is an exciting month of celebrations! We look forward to our annual Thanksgiving lunch and tasty treats and games for Halloween!

We will be busy singing and telling felt board stories about changing leaves; as well as working on finding our names and recognizing letters.

The children will also do fun and spooky activities like the volcano pumpkin explosion and exciting science experiments. We will also wear our Halloween costumes on Friday October 30th and go on a treasure hunt in the classroom.

We have some fun days ahead to take note of:
