The owners of Tiny Hoppers Riverside South’s goal is to create a second loving and safe environment for your child just as they experience at home. WELCOME ALL NEW FAMILIES and as some of you are not quite familiar with all of the owners, let us introduce ourselves.
The owners are: Grandma (Caron) Benjamin along with children Ryan, Jason and Nichole Benjamin, and also pictured here are the daughters in law Sonya and Sarah and the growing clan of grandbabies!
PRESCHOOL:
We can’t believe it’s September!
September is an exciting and busy month for most of us. Schools open, and some of our little friends from Toddlers will be transitioning to Preschool. Other friends are coming back to Tiny Hoppers.
We’re starting to feel the autumn breeze and soon we will see the leaves changing into the wonderful colors of autumn. Apple orchards will be opening soon for apple picking, and our farmers will start harvesting their produce.
This month, we will be talking about these themes. Back to school activities will be all about learning the alphabet and numbers. Children will begin to see school buses again, so we will also explore different kinds of transportations.
We will investigate why the leaves change into beautiful colors and we will be making arts and crafts with Autumn as the theme. We will be including apples, farms and produce in our programming. We will also learn about our community helpers: Teachers, Bus Drivers and Farmers.

TODDLERS:
For the month of September we will be focusing on colours and counting!
We will practice our colours with many different art activities such as mixing paint colours, finger painting, and much more!
We will also practice our counting and numbers with things like hopping on numbers, counting bubbles, and many more fun activities!
INFANTS:
Welcome to our new friends!
This month we will be exploring a variety of gross motor and art activities. We will have different activities for the children to explore and to use their gross motor skills (standing, squatting, walking, crawling, etc.). There will be activities for children to explore art in different mediums!
As the weather is getting cooler, just a reminder to dress your child appropriately for the weather as we will be playing outside! Thank you!
