Infants-Bring on the summer weather! We will have a variety of summer and Science activities.  We’ll be exploring temperatures – hot and cold – dry and wet – and Nature! We are also excited to celebrate our daddies on Father’s Day.  Our Father’s day camp out  is Friday June 14th.

Toddler 1&2-June is a very fun month of learning and adventures in the two toddler rooms. In Week 1, we are learning about Shapes and talking about shape differences! In Week 2, we are exploring dinosaurs with lots of amazing centers such as our Dinosaur Museum! In Week 3, we are exercising our play pretend    skills with a “Make Believe” theme; we even pretend to be royalty and animals.  Lastly, in   Week 4 we are learning more about colours with colour-themed activities such as the Rainbow Kittens Activity; which the Toddlers love so much!

Preschool 1&2-The children got their hands dirty digging in the garden planting and finding lots of worms.  Now they will have the opportunity to explore and take care of the beautiful garden!  They will witness the changes in Nature and the importance of respecting and taking care of the great outdoors.

Outdoor play is important for little ones to develop gross motor skills.  The children need to play & explore within their environment to foster all aspects of development, so we will be starting our weekly visit to the park.  We will be leaving the centre on park days at 9:00 am.  Please be here BEFORE so we can get ready.

Show and Tell is going well and everyone is having fun sharing their special treasures with friends.  The children are learning to listen quietly and ask questions when a friend is finished with their presentation.  In honour of a great year of show & tell, we will have one last day when everyone gets to bring in something special.  Get ready to bring in something on Tuesday June 25th.

It has been another wonderful year and it seems to have passed by so quickly leaving behind great memories.  Children experienced learning environments through curiosity and have had experiences that enhanced successful learning through play.  We would like to thank all of our families for their continued support throughout this year.   We are honoured to be part of your child’s development and wish to thank you.   To those leaving, we will miss you and wish you continued success!
